Show some Love & Keep It Simple

Have you ever felt confused by people who speak over your head in order to make them feel bigger and better. Sometimes when a Dr speaks it's like way over our heads and we are like,  WHAT? Have you ever experienced this with another Christian or even a church? This is not a good example on how to reach people. Why did Jesus use parables to teach? Jesus knew that he was dealing with the average person and that big words and big talk would not accomplish anything. Jesus refused to preach over peoples head. He wanted everyone to have the opportunity to clearly understand and if this meant talking to them as if they were second graders then so be it, At least they would comprehend his words and storytelling planting a seed that would grow beyond the ears it fell on. I feel Jesus was a great example on how we speak to people. Not that we should always speak in parables, but as a Christian we should come down to the level of the person we are speaking to so that they have every opportunity to understand and not try to beef it up as if we know more. There is a good saying that is a great lesson in this. "Less is More". I never claim to know more than the people I witness to and I try to make the moment comfortable for both of us and not awkward. All I can do is keep it simple , plant the seed and pray that is fall on fertile soil. Something we can learn from a great parable of Jesus is never miss the opportunity to treat everyone with love and compassion as Christ would. We should remember that everyone is a child of God even if they don't realize it themselves. Despite our differences and views of life, they are still a child of God and we have an obligation to treat them as such. Never pass up the opportunity to love someone you don't know.
Matthew 25:34-46

34-36“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what’s coming to you in this kingdom. It’s been ready for you since the world’s foundation. And here’s why:
I was hungry and you fed me,
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,
I was homeless and you gave me a room,
I was shivering and you gave me clothes,
I was sick and you stopped to visit,
I was in prison and you came to me.’
37-40“Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’
41-43“Then he will turn to the ‘goats,’ the ones on his left, and say, ‘Get out, worthless goats! You’re good for nothing but the fires of hell. And why? Because—
I was hungry and you gave me no meal,
I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
I was homeless and you gave me no bed,
I was shivering and you gave me no clothes,
Sick and in prison, and you never visited.’
44“Then those ‘goats’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or homeless or shivering or sick or in prison and didn’t help?’
45“He will answer them, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you failed to do one of these things to someone who was being overlooked or ignored, that was me—you failed to do it to me.’
46“Then those ‘goats’ will be herded to their eternal doom, but the ‘sheep’ to their eternal reward.”
