Being strong and courageouse

Joshua1:5 No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or forsake you.
6 "Be strong and courageous, for you will distribute the land I swore to their fathers to give them as an inheritance. 7 Above all, be strong and very courageous to carefully observe the whole instruction My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go. 8 This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.

God gave Joshua leadership over the territory promised to the Israelites as long as he was obedient and meditated over the scriptures day and night. He was instructed to not let the word depart from his mouth.

That promise is for all of us - He will give you and me all that is promised as long as we read the word consistently and are obedient to Him. We should have no fear because the Lord is with us wherever we go.

We cannot walk in fear when we have His promise. God gives each of us a part of leadership that we are to embrace in our walk with Him. The question is, "are you walking with him, and are his words part of the overflow in your life?"

Be strong and of good courage!
