Can you remember as a little child when your parents told you that you would do something that would change your outlook on life when you get older? And your response would always be no way, not me. It happens to all of us growing up. Your parents know you better than you do because they made you. They know your thought process. I can recall another person who witnessed this same thing and it would change his life. Peter. Peter was told by Jesus that he would deny him three times before the rooster would crow. I believe the church as a whole is going down the same road. We are so busy with our own lives that we don’t give Jesus our very best. We are denying Christ every time we set ourselves before Him. Every time we pass the opportunity to share Jesus with a lost person we are in sense telling Jesus we are more important or that He is not important enough. We need to put away our toys and pick up our bibles. We need to put down our cell phones and raise our hands to Him and just thank him for loving us even though we don’t deserve his love. His grace is sufficient not a license to sin. We should love on Him every moment we get the chance. Sometimes its as if we are waiting on the rooster rather than Jesus. If we are waiting on Jesus we are missing out on life. Jesus is waiting on us. We have to be proactive in life. The lost are dying to the world and it could be due to our negligence.
