Honoring our Pastors

Today we celebrated a special day to some very special people. Today was our pastor’s appreciation day and I thought that I would share what they mean to me and my family. Pastors Eric and Gena Boggs have been such a wonderful part of my family’s life since we moved to the Greenville area. I have only known the Boggs family since last November. We visited Beech Springs by invitation from another member and to this day I believe it was a God send. We met and it felt as if I had known them for years. I knew that God had placed Pastor Eric in my life for many reasons and with this gave me an opportunity to be a part of the church staff as youth pastor. I cherish Pastor Eric and Gena. Just in such a short time I see how God uses this family to influence our community and be a place of comfort to the hurting people. They dedicate themselves to serve God and the community with such passion in their heart and to see the world change with love one person at a time. Their love for people is a model of Christ’s love and with such an example you cant help but love them and want to e a part of the vision God has given them. Their children mirror the same heart within their parents, and are always there to lend a hand to their peers. All I can say if I had to keep it short is I love them and I appreciate everything they are doing for the Kingdom. I am honored and humbled to be a part of their journey with God. Pastor’s Eric and Gena, we love you!

Not to mention beyond our communities... I don't think that a missions trip has went by that at least one member of their family has gone. In the 11 years that we've attended BST, it's easier to describe them as family than anything else. And beyond that family is their whole-heartedness to emphasize on the church family. I say that they've done an immaculate job!
